MTN is a South African cellular network operator with one of
the largest GSM networks in the world, covering approximately
350 000 square miles of land. MTN is passionate about enhancing
the lives of its customers through the innovative use of technology.
While this usually takes the form of being first to introduce
state-of-the-art mobile technologies into the African marketplace,
this approach was recently expanded to include Fleximount.
When MTN recently took occupation in its new head office in
Johannesburg, it was decided to fit key interior spaces with
dynamic graphics to reflect their exciting and innovative business
approach.
What began as a brief to fit two large format images into the
main boardroom soon became an internal branding exercise through
the entire building. "The visuals give staff a sense
of ownership as they reflect our values and are appropriate
to our industry," says Mohau Mphome, Visual Merchandising Manager.
"I was very pleased when I saw how simple and quick it is to
change the prints using the Fleximount frames – we can completely
change the look of an area without any disruption to people
working there."
With its strong brand recognition in Africa, MTN have recently
decided to extend its branding strategy with Fleximount as a
standard across 360 key national franchises.

BMG Music Canada head office is located in downtown Toronto,
Canada. With a location so close to the music and fashion district
they needed a flexible changing graphic system that best suited
their criteria which included functionality, cosmetics and durability.
After looking at a number of solutions available in the market
place, BMG choose Fleximount II! Fleximount offered everything
they were looking for including a comprehensive training seminar
that demonstrated that even their store people can make the
changes themselves.

Faced with a dilemma, Ikea had a need for frame system that
kept their banners in place while the Canadian North Winds came
through, all other attempts to keep a banner in place on the
parapet wall have failed in the past.
Ikea was faced with another problem, if there was a frame system
used it would be exposed around the banner which contradicted
local sign bylaws, it was imperative that a blind system was
used. Fleximount was contacted to solve this "difficult" problem
where everyone failed. Fleximount I was proposed and installed
on the parapet wall during a Winter wind storm and much to the
disbelief of onlookers the banner stayed in place.
Ikea today is happy that they have a functional changing system
and the banners stay in place.
